Task
You will complete a written theory test under supervised test conditions. The test paper will be issued at the start of the assessment. You must answer all questions in the spaces provided.
The test includes short response and scenario-based questions about software types, operating systems, utility software, software licensing, the Software Development Cycle, user needs and user interface.

- Write clearly in the spaces provided.
- Use Computer Science terminology where appropriate.
- For scenario questions, use details from the scenario in your response.
- If a question asks you to explain, recommend or justify, give reasons. A one-word answer is not enough.

- This is an individual assessment.
- No notes, internet searching, AI assistance or communication with other students are permitted during the test.

Evidence
Your completed test paper will be collected at the end of the assessment and marked using the Task 4 marking key.
