Unit 3 Assessments
Theory Test
Systems analysis and development theory test covering SDLC, project management, context diagrams, hardware/software.
System Analysis Project
Apply system analysis skills and create a spreadsheet budget solution.
Database Practical Assessment
Three-week Microsoft Lists database assessment with data types, primary key, forms, query views, report views, interface evidence, documentation, and final LMS submission.
Externally Set Task (EST)
SCSA externally set task covering a subset of Unit 3 content.
Unit 4 Assessments
Developing Software Theory Test
Theory test on Unit 4 Developing software: software types, utilities, licensing, SDC stages, user needs and interface factors.
Study Session Helper Program Project
Design, build, test and evaluate the supplied Study Session Helper Program using the Software Development Cycle.
Programming Practical Test
Practical programming test with algorithms and trace tables.
Network Design Project
Design and justify a LAN network diagram.
