Task 7 Practical Guide

Read The Scenario

Turn the task wording into inputs, processing, outputs, decisions and loops before coding.

Steps

  1. 1 Read the scenario twice before opening the programming environment.
  2. 2 Circle each value that the user must enter.
  3. 3 Underline calculations, comparisons, counters and updates.
  4. 4 Box the required outputs.
  5. 5 Write `IF` next to each required decision.
  6. 6 Write `LOOP` next to each repeated action.

Examples

Input clue

asks for the number of minutes spent practising questions

Processing clue

calculate the total study time

Output clue

display the number of balanced sessions at the end

Avoid

Starting with code immediately

Ignoring the final output

Missing a counter requirement
